Close Encounters, January 9 – February 22

Box Spring Gallery is starting the year off with a close-up analysis of other-worldly, fantastical specimens, that are actually right here on Earth. Gregory Brellochs’ intricate graphite drawings and Marguerita Hagan’s detailed ceramic studies, enlarge what can only be seen under a microscope for all of us to experience. Organic symmetry and patterns in growth, validate Mother Nature as the ultimate divine designer. Close Encounters will be on view Jan 9 – Feb 22, and will host a Virtual Artists Talk on Feb 6, 6–7:30pm (Zoom link to come) and a 2nd Thursday gallery reception on Feb 13, 6–9pm.
